Baked Beans with Pizazz

Yields: 8 Servings

A traditional baked bean side which includes honey and peppers.

Directions:

Sauté onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until soft but not brown. Combine with beans, catsup and honey, in a two-quart casserole. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake uncovered 45 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 medium onion, chopped

1 medium green pepper, chopped

1 clove of garlic, minced

2 Tablespoons salad oil

2 cans (1 pound, 12 ounces) baked beans

½ cup catsup

¼ cup honey
